These matching pictures are from one of the first times Michael and I dared to go out to dinner after Jane was born. We took her to our favorite Mexican place, Grill No. 9. We were nervous about how she would handle it--she cried upon entering the restaurant, unsettled by all the people, noise, and stimulation, but then settled in and the waitresses gushed over her.
We both wore white gauzy shirts, jeans, and silver shoes--I did not buy her this outfit on purpose to match me, but my taste is consistent :) Anyone who knows my sister knows that matching is a thing in our family :) The last picture is Jane sitting in her bumbo chair on the table while we ate dinner, so she could join us. (No, we did not leave her unattended for even a second in it.)
