On Mothers' Day we went to Brenda and George's (Nana and Grandpa's), which is about 2 1/2 hours away in the Texas Hill Country. It was Janie's first big trip and she did great!  I fed her in a DQ parking lot (DQ's are ubiquitous in Texas small towns) and a BBQ place parking lot (BBQ places are also ubiquitous, as are donut shops and Mexican restaurants).  I forgot my camera, but here are some pictures from Nana's camera.  Besides this being Jane's first trip, she also started "social smiling."
