Our First Anniversary

 I can't believe our amazing wedding was already more than a year ago, and that we now have a baby.  On our anniversary (May 21), we left Jane with Nana and Grandpa for the first time and actually spent the night at the Hilton Waco.  Michael planned an awesome night complete with dinner at our favorite restaurant, in walking distance of the hotel. It was such a special night and  great time to relax, reconnect, and have fun.  We had champagne at night and a yummy breakfast, and Michael had put flowers and chocolates in the room ahead of time.  I didn't realize how much I needed this time.  It's obviously a whole different ballgame to go out now--I typed a full page of instructions on Jane's sleeping and eating habits and toted the pump along to the hotel.  Janie did great, of course, and we were really grateful to Brenda and George for the opportunity.
